Product, lifestyle, and editorial photography that drives ecommerce conversion, launch campaigns, and brand authority for firearms, outdoor, and performance brands.
Photography is the visual foundation underneath every other marketing channel a brand operates. The product photos that drive ecommerce conversion. The lifestyle imagery that establishes brand identity. The launch photography that anchors PR campaigns and trade show presence. The editorial work that lives on the most important pages of the brand’s site. When the photography is wrong – wrong angle for the audience, wrong production quality, wrong context – every downstream channel suffers. When it’s right, every channel benefits. OMG’s photo work is built around what each shoot needs to accomplish for the business, not just what it needs to look like.
What separates our photography from generalist product studios is what we know about the industries we shoot in. Our photographers have been shooting, hunting, building, and wrenching their whole lives – which means they know how a firearm should sit in frame, how a hunt photograph should feel, how a vehicle build should be lit. We produce everything in-house from pre-production through final files: concept, location scouting, casting, in-studio product photography, on-location range and field work, editing, retouching, color correction, and multi-format delivery. The result is photography that performs because the people behind the cameras understand both the gear and the audience.
What Sets Industry Photography Apart
Photography for firearms, outdoor, and performance brands isn’t the same as photography for fashion or consumer packaged goods. The audiences in these categories know the products intimately – which means they spot wrong angles, wrong setups, wrong lighting, and wrong context the moment the image loads. A rifle photographed without attention to how it actually mounts. A holster photographed without the carry context that makes it useful. A vehicle build framed like a magazine cover without the technical detail that proves the work. Generalist product studios miss these things constantly because they don’t know what the audience is looking for. Effective photography in our industries is built by photographers who know the products the same way the audience does – and produces images that ring true to the people the brand is actually selling to.
The Photography We Produce
Our photo work spans the full range of formats brands in our industries actually need – and each project is built around how the brand will use the final files across their marketing program.
Product Photography
Studio and on-location product photography built for ecommerce listings, dealer catalogs, product detail pages, retail materials, and the spec-driven imagery brands need across their owned channels. Clean, technical, accurate, and produced in the volumes launches demand.
Lifestyle and Action Photography
Range work, hunt photography, on-location product use, and the real-world context that gives brands their visual identity. Shot in the field where the products actually get used, by photographers who’ve used them.
Editorial and Brand Storytelling
Editorial photography for brand campaigns, trade publications, internal narratives, and the visual storytelling that establishes category authority. The kind of photography that ends up on the brand’s most important pages and in their most important campaigns.
Launch Photography
Product launch photography for SHOT Show, IWA, ICAST, NASGW, and major announcement windows. Hero imagery, retail-ready visuals, trade show booth photography, and the supporting library that anchors PR campaigns and dealer rollouts.
Team and Corporate Photography
Brand team photography, executive portraits, and corporate documentation for use across press, hiring, dealer materials, and the brand’s identity assets.
Inside an OMG Photo Production
Every photo project moves through four phases – and the work we do upfront in pre-production is what determines whether the shoot lands on time, on budget, and with the deliverables the brand actually needs.
Pre-Production
Creative brief development, shot list creation, location scouting, talent casting, props and styling, equipment planning, and the production schedule. Pre-production is where the difference between a smooth shoot and a problem shoot gets decided – and it’s where the brand has the most opportunity to shape the outcome before cameras roll.
Production Day
On the shoot day, the team includes a producer, lead photographer, lighting techs, and production assistants. We shoot with professional medium-format and full-frame digital systems across in-studio product work and on-location production at ranges, in the field, on the water, in workshops, and anywhere else the brand’s audience actually uses the products. Multiple setups, multiple angles, real-time review with the client when they’re on set.
Post-Production
Editing, color correction, retouching, and the finishing work that takes a raw capture to a finished deliverable. The post team works with the brand through structured review rounds to land on a final image set that does what the brand needs the photography to do.
Delivery
Every project ships in the formats the brand will use. High-resolution master files for print and large-format display. Web-optimized versions for site and ecommerce. Social-sized crops for platform-specific specs. Background-removed PNGs for design and ad use. The same shoot becomes a library of deliverables tuned for every channel in the brand’s stack.

Why Our Photography Works for Brands Like Yours
We Shoot Photography That Drives Outcomes
Brands hire OMG for photography because photography drives outcomes the business depends on. Better product photos convert more visitors to buyers on ecommerce pages. Better lifestyle photography builds the brand affinity that paid media and email convert against. Better launch photography moves retail orders and earns trade press coverage. We plan every shoot around what the brand needs the images to do – and we measure the work by the way the brand measures the business, not by the way a stock photographer would measure a portfolio.
We Live the Industries We Photograph
The photographers behind our cameras have been shooting, hunting, building, and wrenching their whole lives – and that fluency shows in every frame. We know how to photograph a rifle on the bench because we shoot. We know how to capture a hunt because we hunt. We know how to frame a vehicle build because we wrench. The authenticity that separates our work from generalist product photography isn’t styling and post – it’s knowing what the audience expects to see and producing images that ring true to people who use these products in the real world.
We Run Photography In-House at Every Stage
Most agencies farm out product photography to outside studios, which means the brief gets translated, scheduling gets complicated, and the brand voice gets diluted in the handoff. We don’t. Our photography team works in-house alongside the strategy and creative teams who know each brand intimately. The result is photography that’s tighter, more on-brand, faster to produce, and that maintains visual consistency across launches, campaigns, ecommerce, and editorial work over years.
