Cinematic video production built to drive product launches, audience growth, and revenue for firearms, outdoor, and performance brands.
Brands in our industries hire OMG for video because video drives outcomes the business depends on. Product launch campaigns that anchor SHOT Show, IWA, and ICAST. Social-first content that grows audience faster than any other format. Pre-roll and digital ads that convert paid media spend into measurable revenue. Brand films that establish category authority and dealer mindshare. The video work we produce isn’t art for art’s sake – it’s built around the specific commercial outcomes the brand needs from each deliverable.
What separates our video work from generalist production houses is what we know about the industries we shoot in. The team behind our cameras has been shooting, hunting, building, and wrenching their whole lives – not playing the part of the audience. We produce everything in-house from pre-production through final cut: concept development, scripting, on-location production at ranges and in the field, in-studio product cinematography, color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and multi-format delivery. The result is video that performs because the people producing it understand both the cameras and the audience.
Why Video Looks Different in Our Industries
Video for firearms, outdoor, and performance brands isn’t the same as video for consumer packaged goods or SaaS. The audience expects production quality but punishes inauthenticity. A product film that gets the cycling of an action wrong, that shoots a hunt with too clean a frame, or that frames a tactical operator like a fashion model gets bounced in seconds – and the brand pays for it in lost authority. Effective video here also has to perform across the channels the brand actually uses it on: paid media, social, dealer education, trade shows, retail displays, and the brand’s owned channels. Getting that combination right takes a production team that knows the products as well as the cameras – and produces video the audience trusts the first time, every time.
What We Shoot
The video work we produce covers the full range of formats brands in our industries actually need – and each project is built around how the brand will use the final deliverables across their marketing program.
Product Launch Films
Cinematic films for new product introductions at SHOT Show, IWA, ICAST, NASGW, and during launch windows. These anchor PR campaigns, get featured in trade publications, and live on the brand’s product pages for the lifetime of the SKU.
Brand Storytelling
The films that establish brand voice and category authority – not about a specific product, but about who the brand is and why the audience should care. These usually become the brand’s most-watched assets on YouTube.
Social-First Video
Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and Stories produced for the algorithm and the platform-specific native specs. Usually shot in batches and produced in volume to feed the brand’s social calendar at the pace each platform demands.
Product Demonstration and Tutorial
Technical video that shows how products actually function, walks through assembly or operation, and answers the questions customers ask before buying. Some of the highest-converting video content in our industries because it satisfies real buyer intent.
Pre-Roll and Digital Ad Creative
The 15-second, 30-second, and 60-second cuts that run as YouTube pre-roll, Meta video ads, OTT/Connected TV placements, and direct-buy industry network video. Engineered for platform specs and engineered for conversion.
Trade Show and Event Video
The loop-able cuts that run on booth displays at SHOT Show, IWA, ICAST, NASGW, and the other industry events. Engineered to attract attention from across a busy exhibition floor and reinforce the brand’s category positioning.
From Concept to Final Cut
Every video project runs through four phases – and the work we do in pre-production is what determines whether the project lands on time, on budget, and on brief.
Pre-Production
Pre-production is where the project’s success gets decided. Creative brief development, concept refinement, storyboard creation, script writing, location scouting, talent casting, props and styling, equipment planning, and the production schedule. We do this work upfront because the difference between a shoot that hits its objectives and a shoot that struggles is almost always traceable to pre-production decisions.
Production
On the shoot day, the team includes a producer, director, lead videographer, sound engineer, lighting techs, and production assistants. We shoot with cinema-quality cameras and professional audio across in-studio product cinematography and on-location work at ranges, in the field, on the water, in workshops, and anywhere else the brand’s audience actually uses the products. Multiple setups, multiple angles, multiple takes – we come back with more than we need so the edit has options.
Post-Production
Editorial cuts, color grading, sound design, music licensing, motion graphics, voice-over recording, and the visual effects work that takes a shot from good to finished. The post team works closely with the brand through structured review rounds to land on a final cut that does what the brand needs the video to do.
Multi-Format Delivery
Every video project ships in multiple formats engineered for the channels the brand will use them on. 4K and 1080p horizontal for YouTube, broadcast, and trade show. 9:16 vertical for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and Stories. 1:1 square for in-feed social. Shorter cutdowns for pre-roll and paid media. The same shoot becomes a library of deliverables tuned for every channel in the brand’s stack.

What Sets Our Video Work Apart
We Produce Video That Drives Real Outcomes
Brands don’t pay OMG for showreels – they pay for video that drives outcomes. Product launches that move retail orders. Social content that grows audience faster than any other format. Pre-roll and digital ads that convert paid media spend into measurable revenue. Trade show video that wins dealer mindshare on the floor at SHOT Show, IWA, and ICAST. We plan every project around what the brand needs the video to do, and we build the production around delivering that result. The brief always starts with the outcome, not the storyboard.
We Live the Industries We Shoot
The team behind our cameras has been shooting, hunting, building, and wrenching their whole lives. We know how the products work because we use them. We know what the audience expects because we are the audience. The authenticity that separates our work from generalist productions isn’t a creative direction we apply on top of an outsider’s interpretation – it’s a byproduct of who’s behind the camera. In industries where the audience can spot a creative-director interpretation of the lifestyle in two seconds, that authenticity is the difference between a video that builds the brand and a video that gets ignored.
We Run Production In-House, End to End
Most agencies farm out video production to outside houses, which means the brief gets translated, the timeline gets longer, and the brand voice gets diluted in the handoff. We don’t. The same OMG team that runs the brand’s strategy is in the room for pre-production, on the set during production, and at the edit bay through post. Single team from concept to final cut – tighter, more on-brand video produced faster than the broker-and-vendor model. Quality compounds because we keep building institutional knowledge of how each brand presents itself on camera.
